**Business Function description**:
The Products, Cloud Engineering & Operations (PCE&O) function at Basware is dedicated to providing industry-leading SaaS solutions that streamline operations and optimize spending for our customers. This global team is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, innovation, development, and launches for Basware's global product portfolio. Working in collaboration with other Basware units, PCE&O ensures that our customers achieve their business objectives by leveraging our products and services.
**Team description - Products and R&D Procurement**:
The Procurement team offers a suite of products and services designed to automate and enhance purchase-to-pay processes for our customers. Our solutions provide visibility into spending and enable cost savings.
**Key role responsibilities (“Your Contribution”)**:
Product Ownership and Quality:
- Maintain a well-organized product backlog and prioritize detailed product requirements based on internal and external input.
- Take ownership of product quality and ensure service health.
- Align the product with Basware's target architecture and effectively manage technical debt.
**Team Productivity**:
- Prioritize the team backlog and effectively communicate product requirements to the R&D team.
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the R&D team.
**Product Development**:
- Accountable for driving roadmap items from design to production release.
- Contribute to product design and alignment with Basware's vision.
- Support product readiness and launches according to Basware's product development process.
- Develop solution documentation, training materials, and provide knowledge transfer to various stakeholders.
- Act as an expert in Procurement solutions' features and support stakeholders accordingly.
**Reporting and Communication**:
- Report progress and escalate scope or schedule deviations to the Product Manager and other stakeholders, while setting clear expectations.
- Estimate development effort in collaboration with R&D teams.
- Conduct product feature demonstrations, create documentation, and deliver training to stakeholders to ensure serviceability.

- Technical education at BSc/MSc level.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development, product management, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a track record in requirement analysis, specification, multi-site development coordination, and productization of large-scale software solutions. Experience in financial and/or security-critical systems is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to procurement or e-commerce solutions, complex system architectures, system integrations, APIs, data synchronization, UX design, Agile development, and SaaS business is a plus.
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork across organizational boundaries.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- End-to-end mindset with a capability to think creatively.
