As an Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Analyst, this role contributes to ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to bribery and corruption. The role is responsible for analysing and monitoring potential risks and supporting in implementing preventive measures to safeguard the bank's reputation and integrity. The ABAC Analyst will contribute to maintaining a strong ethical culture and promoting transparency within the organisation.

What will your day look like

**This role is accountable for**:
**Policy Development**: Assisting in the development, review and enhancement of anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, procedures and controls.

**Compliance Monitoring**: Supporting regular assessments of the bank's operations and processes to identify and address areas of non-compliance.

**Risk Assessment**: Contributing to risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and red flags. Assisting with evaluating existing controls and procedures and recommending enhancements to minimise the risk of bribery and corruption.

**Due Diligence**: Supporting in maintaining a robust ABAC due diligence process to assess the integrity of third parties. Assisting with the oversight of risks associated with engaging or continuing relationships with third parties.

**Stakeholder Engagement**: Coordinating stakeholder enquiries and following up with stakeholders to ensure assessments and actions are adequately completed.

**Continuous Improvement**: Supporting with opportunities to enhance the bank's ABAC program, processes and systems. Proposing and supporting improvement initiatives to mitigate risks, streamline operations, and strengthen overall compliance efforts. Assisting with the development of processes and procedures.

**Reporting and Governance**: Supporting with analysis that feeds into stakeholder and governance forum reporting to ensure the bank's policies are robust and aligned with industry standards.

**Training and Awareness**: Assisting with coordinating training material to raise awareness within the organisation and promote a culture of integrity and ethical behaviour.
What will you bring?

The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
Knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations and other relevant global standards.
Minimum of 12 months experience, preferably gained within a relevant financial, regulatory or professional services environment.
Excellent analytical and investigative skills with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret complex information from various sources.
Detail-oriented mindset while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Outstanding time management, problem solving, and organisational skills gained in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft office skills (Word and Excel).

The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
Experience in the banking industry, specifically in anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance or related fields such as financial crime, risk management, legal or internal audit.
Familiarity with banking products, services, and operations, as well as associated risks related to bribery and corruption.
Experience in collaborating with stakeholders.

The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
Experience in the banking industry, specifically in anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance or related fields such as financial crime, risk management, legal or internal audit.
Familiarity with banking products, services, and operations, as well as associated risks related to bribery and corruption.
Experience in collaborating with stakeholders.
