- Doing special needs children’s speech and language assessments
- Planning and providing appropriate therapy
- Develop an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each student.
- Preparing therapy lessons and resources;
- Writing reports, maintaining records and case notes
- Teaching children with special needs either individually or small groups of pupils within, or outside the class;
- Liaising with occupational therapists, teachers and family members
- Use various teaching methods to promote learning, including intensive individualized instruction, problem-solving assignments, and small-group work.
- Ensure appropriate accommodations are available in class and when a student needs to take a test.
- Set personalized goals.
- Developing and adapting conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils;
- Using special equipment and facilities, such as audio-visual materials and computers to stimulate interest in learning;
- Collaborating with the mainstream school teachers to define appropriate activities for the pupils in relation to the curriculum;
- Liaising with other professionals, such as educational therapist, movement therapist, sensory integration therapist and physiotherapist and psychologists;
- Organising learning outside the classroom in activities such as community visits, school outings or sporting events;
- Inform parents of child's progress and giving advice and support to family members and teachers and working closely with parents and guardians;
- Attending training programs organised by Ananya
- Always maintain a high standard of safety at Ananya by following all safety procedures and acting safely, not putting yourself or other people at risk by your actions or omissions. Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with Ananya policies & procedures.

Job Competencies:

- Recognised qualification in Speech Therapy
- Previous experience providing Speech therapy services for children with a variety of special needs.
- Planning, implementing and evaluating programs.
- Running effective individual and group programs.
- Provision of Speech therapy interventions to improve independence and function.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.
- Ability in establishing and building positive working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Empathy and emotional maturity.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.

**Salary**: ₹15,276.01 - ₹41,565.78 per month
