Job Title**:Transport Officer**

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a Transport Officer / Transport Manager to oversee and manage the

institution’s transport operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant transportation

of students and staff. The role requires excellent organisational, people management, and

problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle emergencies and provide high-quality

service in a dynamic institutional environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Plan, schedule, and manage daily transport routes ensuring timely pick-up

and drop-off.

2. Monitor and manage the transport fleet for effective utilisation and cost

control.

3. Handle emergency transport requirements promptly and efficiently.

4. Ensure all vehicles undergo regular servicing, maintenance, and cleaning.

5. Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, insurance, and statutory

documentation.

6. Ensure all drivers follow institutional policies and safety regulations.

7. Conduct safety checks and ensure vehicles meet statutory compliance.

8. Implement and monitor safety protocols for the transportation of students

and staff.

9. Supervise, schedule, and monitor drivers and support staff.

10. Oversee driver attendance, discipline, and performance.

11. Conduct driver training on safety, emergency handling, and courteous

behaviour.

12. Maintain logs on transport operations, fuel usage, and vehicle utilisation.

13. Prepare and submit regular reports to the management on transport

operations.

14. Monitor fuel usage and ensure cost-effective operations.

15. Identify and implement cost-saving measures in transport operations.

16. Coordinate with parents, students, staff, and vendors on transport-related

issues.

17. Address and resolve transport-related complaints promptly.

18. Support transport arrangements for institutional events and special

programs.

19. Carry out any additional responsibilities related to transport management as

assigned by the management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in transport management, preferably in an

educational institution.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and statutory compliance.
- Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
