**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the Gravity Die Casting department.
- Ensure production targets (quantity and quality) are met as per the production plan.
- Monitor and control casting parameters, ensuring consistency and minimizing defects.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and lower rejection rates.
- Manage mould/die maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Lead troubleshooting of casting defects (e.g., porosity, shrinkage, misruns, etc.) and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain 5S and safety standards across the GDC shop floor.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Planning departments for seamless operations.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and operators on GDC best practices and safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports, downtime analysis, and rejection data.
- Ensure adherence to ISO/TS standards, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to new product development and trial runs for casting feasibility and process setup.
