**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Management Information System (MIS)**:

- Prepare and maintain **daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports** related to policies, claims, premium collections, and revenue.
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights for business decisions.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Excel/ERP/Tally to track key performance metrics.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.

**2. Accounting & Finance**:

- Handle **bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger entries** related to insurance transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment tracking.
- Process commission calculations and reconciliation with insurer payments.
- Assist in preparing **financial statements, tax filings, and audit reports**.
- Ensure compliance with **GST, TDS, and other regulatory financial requirements**.

**3. Insurance-Specific Financial Operations**:

- Maintain **policy premium records** and track outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with insurers for policy endorsements, cancellations, and refunds.
- Assist in claim settlements and maintain financial records for the same.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring all documentation is up to date.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years in accounts and MIS, preferably in an **insurance brokerage or financial services firm**.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in **Tally, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.), ERP software, and accounting principles**.
- **Analytical Abilities**: Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret financial data.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with insurers, clients, and internal teams.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Understanding of **IRDAI guidelines, GST, and TDS compliance** is a plus.
