- **Job Purpose**

Mechanical Site engineer for Supervision of Piping Erection & Commissioning
- **Key Result Area**
- Piping Supervision for erection & commissioning
- Testing & Protocol be devised for Piping activity
- Timely updation of reports
- REX document on ARP site executed.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- To Ensure adherence of Site Safety Requirements.
- Be thorough with all piping standards and conversant with industry practices for piping
- Able to read / modify the Engineering Specifications / Drawings (Isometric, Layout, P&I diagram)
- Able to measure & certify the piping work completed at site
- At site, re-routing the piping as needed consulting engineering team
- Study Technical Contract to understand the Project requirements and raise timely query
- Execution of work as per project requirements (Pipe Fabrication, Erection, Welding Activities, Hydrostatic Testing, Flushing, Reinstatement etc.)
- Organize and manage daily construction activities and ensure correct resources are allocated and all safety precautions are in place.
- Prepares daily and weekly reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, construction personnel forecasts plan.
- Monitors materials and equipment’s usage on the site. Prepares Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables.
- Preparation of Erection and Commissioning schedule as needed
- Preparation of Mechanical Erection Manual as needed
- Study & Collection of documents for better understanding and preparation before leaving to site.
- Open Package Inspection at site & feedback on short supplies and requirements of materials to Site Manager.
- Pre-Commissioning of Executed Piping Works.
- See the completion of equipment erection and commissioning and to prepare Protocol of erection / commissioning.
- Report to Site Manager about any discrepancies in erection / commissioning for requirement of manpower / material.
- Update the Site reports on Teams / PACE / Project documentation.
- Give site feedback for improvement from own experience / knowledge
- Coordinate with Project, design department & customer for erection & commissioning activities to complete project on time Co-ordinate with sub
- contractors/ third parties in case of any discrepancies and to ensure timely execution of site activities.
- Attending the commissioning group meetings produce all types of test documentation and present the problem faced at site.
- Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary plant performance in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinates and resolves engineering or construction problems about piping test packages.
- Site closure as per the contractual obligation
- To prepare and send all site reports to HO.
- **Education**
- Engineering Graduate with relevant experience preferred.
- Else Diploma Engineer with relevant 10 -15 of years’ experience.
