A **Site Surveyor** is responsible for measuring and mapping construction and mining sites to ensure accurate project execution. They use specialized equipment to collect, analyze, and interpret spatial data, ensuring that construction or excavation aligns with design plans and legal requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Land & Site Surveys**: Conduct topographical, boundary, and engineering surveys to gather precise data for construction or mining projects.
- **Data Collection & Analysis**: Use GPS, total stations, drones, and other surveying tools to measure distances, angles, and elevations.
- **Map & Report Preparation**: Create detailed site maps, reports, and CAD drawings for engineers, architects, and project managers.
- **Stakeout & Alignment**: Set out reference points, benchmarks, and grids for excavation, foundations, and structures.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Ensure all surveying activities comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, geologists, contractors, and project managers to support project execution.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor site progress and verify that work aligns with design specifications and tolerances.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Calibrate and maintain surveying instruments for accuracy and efficiency.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in **Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering**, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2+ years in land surveying, preferably in **construction, mining, or infrastructure** projects.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in **GPS, Total Stations, AutoCAD, GIS, and other surveying software**.
- Strong **mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving** skills.
- Knowledge of **construction methods, geology, and terrain analysis** is a plus.
- Ability to work in **remote locations and challenging environments**.
- Excellent **communication and teamwork** skills.

**Work Environment & Conditions**:

- Field-based role, requiring outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- May involve travel to different project sites.
- Physical stamina to walk, stand, and carry equipment over rough terrain.
