- **Student Assessment**: Monitor children's performance and progress, conduct evaluations, and record their development to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- **Parent Communication**: Collaborate with parents to provide feedback on their child's progress and set goals for their development.
- **Safety and Supervision**: Ensure the well-being of students and supervise them in and out of the classroom, such as during lunchtime and recess.

Key Qualifications
- **Education**: A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is typically required.
- **Certification**: State-issued teaching certification or licensure in early childhood education may be necessary.
- **Experience**: Previous experience teaching or working with young children in an educational setting is often preferred.
- **Skills**:
