Job Title: Finance Executive - GST & Accounts
Location: Bhopal, MP
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
1. GST Filing and Compliance
- Prepare and file GSTR-1 returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with all GST-related regulations and maintain proper documentation.
- Reconcile GST liabilities and input tax credits to avoid discrepancies.
2. Sales Invoicing
- Generate and manage sales invoices in line with company policies.
- Verify invoice details for accuracy, tax compliance, and proper documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices to customers and maintain proper records.
3. Debtor Reconciliation and Balance Confirmation
- Perform regular reconciliation of debtor accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Confirm outstanding balances with debtors and promptly resolve discrepancies.
- Follow up on overdue payments and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely collections.
4. Dispatch Coordination and Document Preparation
- Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Prepare shipping and dispatch documents, ensuring compliance with statutory and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch-related transactions for audit purposes.
5. ERP System Management
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the ERP system.
- Generate financial reports and assist in data analysis to support management decision-making.
- Ensure all financial entries are in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
6. Other Responsibilities
- Assist in financial and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline finance-related workflows.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in finance, GST compliance, invoicing, and accounts reconciliation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
- Strong knowledge of GST regulations, invoicing, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
