**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Packing Associate** to join our manufacturing team.
**Job Location: Coimbatore**
In this role, you will be responsible for packaging finished products to prepare them for distribution, ensuring that each product is properly protected and labeled. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the flow of goods from the production line to shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
**Requirements**:
- **Product Packaging**: Pack manufactured products into boxes or containers based on established packing standards and customer requirements. Ensure that all products are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect finished products for any defects, damages, or inconsistencies before packing. Report any quality issues to the production or quality control team for resolution.
- **Labeling and Documentation**: Correctly label packages with the appropriate shipping information, including product details, quantities, and any required safety or handling labels.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain a well-organized packing area, ensuring that sufficient packing materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc.) are always available. Report shortages of packing materials to supervisors in a timely manner.
- **Shipping Preparation**: Assist with the preparation of completed orders for shipment, including stacking and organizing boxes for loading onto trucks or into storage.
- **Compliance and Safety**: Follow all company safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe packing area. Adhere to all health and safety regulations relevant to packaging operations in the manufacturing environment.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth transitions from production to packing and then to distribution.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Participate in ongoing training and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance packing efficiency and quality standards.
