**Position Summary**:
- This role will be based at the location of the new site in India - TBC_
**Responsibilities**
- Schedule Development:
- Develop a comprehensive project schedule that outlines all tasks, milestones, and deadlines from the basic design stage through to project completion.
- Work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and define project activities, durations, and dependencies.
- Utilize scheduling software to create detailed and accurate project schedules.
- Schedule Monitoring and Updating:
- Continuously monitor the project schedule to track progress and identify any delays or deviations.
- Update the project schedule regularly to reflect changes in scope, timelines, and resource availability.
- Prepare and distribute schedule updates and progress reports to the project team and senior management.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with the project team to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure alignment.
- Communicate any schedule changes or impacts to relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Coordinate with the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) firm to integrate their schedules with the overall project schedule.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on the project timeline.
- Analyze critical paths and implement adjustments to keep the project on track.
- Prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen schedule disruptions.
- Resource Management:
- Collaborate with the project team to allocate resources effectively and ensure that all activities have the necessary personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor resource utilization and make recommendations for adjustments to optimize efficiency.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular schedule status reports to the Project Director and senior management.
- Maintain detailed and accurate scheduling records, including baseline schedules, updates, and revisions.
- Ensure all scheduling documentation is properly filed and accessible to the project team.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in project scheduling and implement best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in scheduling tools and methodologies to enhance project performance.
**Accountabilities**:
- Accurate and timely development and maintenance of the project schedule.
- Effective communication and coordination with project team members and stakeholders.
- Identification and mitigation of scheduling risks.
- Achievement of project milestones and overall project timeline goals.
**Qualifications**_:_**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling best practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment.
- Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP) is a plus.
