Job Description - **Desktop Engineer**

Experience: 2-5 Years
- **Key Accountabilities **_

Ø Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role.

Ø Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.

Ø Working knowledge of office products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.

Ø Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.

Ø Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue.

Ø Record technical issues and solutions in logs.

Ø Help create technical documentation and manuals.

Ø Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.

Ø Experience AV/video conferencing solutions.

Ø Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, Patch Management, Anti-Malware, anti-virus and inventory management tools.
- **Key Responsibilities **_

Ø Test and deploy hardware and software solutions.

Ø Manage end-user technology projects, such as migrations, deployments and introducing new technology solutions.

Ø Identify issues, propose solutions, and test new technologies or process changes.

Ø Track and thoroughly detail technology issues through ticketing system.

Ø Proactively reach out to customers about their technology needs and address issues before they occur.

Ø Provide administration for various technology platforms in MDM, messaging, collaboration or MFA platforms.

Ø Advanced working knowledge of configuring and trouble-shooting iOS and Android based mobile devices.

Ø Experience administering Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy.

Ø Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.

Ø Ensuring SLAs are met.

Ø Documentation and Record Keeping.

Ø Scheduling upgrades and maintaining them without interference.

Ø System backup and data recovery planning.

Ø Network troubleshooting and optimization.

Ø You may be required to work outside of normal business hours, including occasional holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- **Technical Competencies **_

Ø Laptop/Desktop management and installation.

Ø End Users issue management

Ø Experience in Windows10 and 11.
