**Cyber Security Professor for Master’s Program in Software Engineering**

The Cyber Security Professor performs duties relating to Teaching and Learning in the Master’s Program but not limited to posting faculty guidance and expectations, participating in classroom discussion boards, grading assignments, and promptly responding to students' inquiries.

Hold a Doctoral degree in the field of Cyber Security with Master’s Degree in Computer science, Information Assurance Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.

**Essential Job Duties**
- Emphasize a student-centered learning environment through active engagement
- Collaborate with the college community and other departments to ensure a positive overall experience for all the students particularly students affairs office to maintain timely and accurate student records.
- Adhere to all faculty requirements such as facilitating and engaging in classroom discussion boards, grading assignments and discussions, and responding to student enquiries in a timely manner.
- One professional development session is required to be completed per course taught. Examples are synchronous faculty development opportunities, webinars, course development feedback etc.,
- Critical Thinking: Consistently fosters critical thinking through challenging students to elaborate on their thoughts, question their assumptions, examine biases, communicate in a clear and concise manner, and defend their positions throughout the course.
- Instructive feedback to students: Provide instructive feedback that challenges and inspires students while providing specific suggestions to improve the quality of their work and thinking
- High Expectations: Effectively demonstrate high expectations, while holding students accountable for insightful exchanges and high-quality performance on assignments, and promote active engagement in their own learning.

**Additional Essential Job Duties**
- Participates in meetings (onsite and/or virtual) as directed.
- Performs other duties as agreed upon in collaboration with Other Faculties/Departments
- Collaborating with student-facing institutional personnel to enhance the student experience
- The Professor position carries a teaching load and also other related tasks are nominated by the Institute

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Relocate to Japan and work
- Work related experience in the area of your Degree
- Commitment to teaching
- Commitment to uphold college's diversity, equity and inclusion practices
- Demonstrating awareness of and responding to the diverse needs of all students
- Facilitation instructional materials and providing guidance and feedback to all students accord
- Setting high expectations for student achievement and behavior
- Evaluation student performance via established rubrics and policies
- Addressing plagiarism concerns accordingly to College policy

**Preferred Qualifications**
- College level teaching experience
- Experience teaching in area of Degree
- Experience teaching in “non-traditional” settings to students
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA S+, EC-Council CEH, CISSP, CompTIA CASP+ Security Essentials, CISM
- CCNA Security or similar professional credentials
- Risk management as it applies to cybersecurity to similar professions credentials
- Knowledge of Computer Forensics or similar professional credentials
- Knowledge of Cryptology or similar professional credentials

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Pay: ₹206,000.00 - ₹410,000.00 per month
