**Your Role**:
The safety data retrieval and analysis team is responsible for establishing appropriate tools, procedures and conventions for activities and processes to support data retrieval and data analysis from Global Patient Safety databases in close collaboration with the internal or external customers.

You will work in the Safety Data Retrieval Team Bangalore. This team ensures that all database search requests in Global Patient Safety databases (LSRA, LSDB, LSMV ) are answered timely in excellent quality.

**Safety Data Retrieval working areas**:

- Conceptually develop reports with LSRA Cognos and LSDB in close collaboration with the end users and relevant functions within Global Patient Safety as well as software vendors.
- Write functional report specifications and prepare other process and report documentation.
- Support the software testing of new reports or new LSRA releases.
- Prepare listing sets for standard aggregated reports (PBRER, DSUR, PSUSAR ).
- Create outputs for medical queries (MedDRA searches, any medical question).
- Execution and delivery of repetitive routine queries which must be delivered periodically (weekly, monthly ).
- Ad-hoc database queries.
- Listings for audits and inspections
- Set up automated reports for business partner reconciliation.
- Optimize existing operations and tools and provide technical support to LSRA customers.
- Pursue automation chances.
- Follow best practices for documentation of query requests.

**Who you are**:

- Master’s degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, data sciences or computer science or master’s degree in pharmacy.
- 6 to 10 years of overall experience.
- Expertise and experience in the pharmacovigilance area.
- Experience with pharmacovigilance databases (LSMV, LSRA ).
- E xperience in reporting from safety databases.
- Experience with LSRA and LSMV.
- Experience of reporting and visualization software (IBM Cognos Analytics).
- Expertise in programming (SQL/PLSQL, Visual Basic for Applications, Phyton) is an asset.
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
