This role will be working in the Project Management Office who are responsible for ensuring that IT Project Managers follow the correct Governance process, to enable them to deliver projects in a timely and consistent manner.
Responsible for the following:
- Validating Timesheets/Financial reports/high-level project status reports & risk & issue reports.
- Assistance with the consolidating of the IT Resource skills matrix.
- Assist in the general maintenance of the internal PMO Project SharePoint site.
- Assist in ensuring that IT resources are compliant in allocation of resources to work and submission of time sheets.
- Assist in maintaining general PMO tools (adding and removing users).
- The individual would have a passion for data gathering, analysis and information sharing.
- Good working knowledge of MS office including strong PowerPoint and excel skills is a must.
Key Accountable areas:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience.
- Responsible for pro-active and regular communication with other areas of IT and the business in relation to the project management standards.
- Write and speak fluently on all aspects of work and communicates effectively to all levels of management.
- Establish, manage and produce accurate, timely and relevant data from the PMO Project Management Tool when required too.
- Know the ‘white space’ available to take on new work at any point in time.
- Ability to provide clear and concise reporting.
- Maintains confidentiality and observes data protection guidelines.
- Undertakes any necessary training associated with the duties of the post and participates in training and development procedures.
- Complies with all Company Health and Safety policies and Standard Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
- Work with Project Managers and allied teams for planning to build a working relationship.
- Establish a network across the organization to allow for the elicitation of information that can support the PMO.
