**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Leadership**: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes across all departments.
- **Strategic Planning & Execution**: Collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and implement the company’s short-term and long-term operational strategies.
- **Process Optimization**: Continuously assess operational performance and implement improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and drive growth.
- **Team Management**: Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, providing coaching, training, and guidance to ensure individual and team success.
- **Cross-Departmental Collaboration**: Work closely with other department heads (Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, etc.) to align operations with organizational goals and ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
- **Budgeting & Resource Allocation**: Develop and manage budgets for operations, ensuring resources are appropriately allocated to meet business objectives.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks within operations and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s interests.
- **Performance Metrics & Reporting**: Monitor key operational metrics and report on performance to the executive team, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- **Innovation & Technology**: Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements, implementing relevant innovations that enhance operational efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 20 years of operational experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership position, preferably as a COO or in an equivalent role.
- **Industry Expertise**: Proven track record in managing operations within a similar industry (e.g., manufacturing, technology, retail, etc.).
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex operational challenges.
- **Financial Acumen**: Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- **Technology Savvy**: Familiarity with modern business management software, ERP systems, and operational tools.
