**Solution Designer**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will take a leading role in the design, and development of the vision, electrical, software and automation based elements of the solution here on-site in Goa.
- As the Expert, you will liaise with customers to ensure proper understanding of customer requirements are established from the concept stage.
- You will be tasked with generating documentation to GMP requirements (URS, FDS, FAT, IOQ) when required and work entirely within the client standard operating procedures (SOP) for the requested projects.
- You will work with cross-functional teams - Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Project Management & R&D teams to ensure full compliance with solution requirements while providing technical expertise to the Sales Department at URS and project quotation gate stage.
- You will promote continuous improvement through the provision of feedback to the engineering team in relation to deployment experience of integrated vision and software solutions.
- You will be a leading member of the wider engineering team, working to continually improve the capability of solutions **.**:

- Support Solution and Sales team for new Project Proposal Definition.
- Supporting and conceptualizing New Solution Development.
- Responsible for Determining product Design Feasibility with respect to Project / Customer Requirements.
- Will serve as Technical SME for New/existing Existing customers
- Support all Phases of the Project Delivery from Technical Solution Projects Scope clarity.
- Responsible to Verify the Projects vs Scope of the Solution
- Responsible for Product improvement based on customer feedback
- Responsible for liaising with internal cross functional Team members such as Product, SME’s, Middleware etc to identify Risk for the solution to be Proposed.
- Responsible for identifying the Budget of the solution and ensuring it is in line with the proposed Scope of the Project.
- Responsible for Review Scope / Quotes with Gate 2 Team as and when requested for support.
- Review Service Scope and Quote Requirements in the initial phase.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- Primarily support Gate 2 and Sales as a Technical SME for Serialization solutions as well as new Service requirements and Upgrades.
- Minimum 5 years of working Experience in Optel Serialization, Inspection Solutions And Engineering.
- Proven record of Site Visits for Line Evaluation/ installation etc.
- Should demonstrate ability to Study and Understand New Solution Requirements and should have proven records to have demonstrated such ability.
- Must have a relevant third level qualification in an engineering discipline, preferably a BEng in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, a BSc in Computing / Software Engineering or a BEng in Automation Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in a technical field, ideally coming from the Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Industry.
- Working in collaboration with several multidisciplinary teams: - Mechanical, Electrical, Product, Validation, Configuration, IT, Quality Control, etc.) to ensure that the solution is supported.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective Communication skills; Technical Writing Skills;
- Demonstrate an ability to define a solution with the customer.
- Must demonstrate excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, with strong attention to detail.
