**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT team as a Trainee - IT Network Admin. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in network administration. The trainee will work under the supervision of experienced IT professionals, gaining hands-on experience in managing and maintaining our company’s network infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance
- Assist in monitoring network performance and security.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to network systems.
- Troubleshoot network issues and escalate to senior staff as necessary.
- Installation and Configuration
- Assist in the installation and configuration of network hardware and software.
- Help configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide basic network support to end-users.
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues.
- Support the IT team in resolving help desk tickets
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and issues.
- Assist in the creation and updating of network documentation and diagrams.
- Security and Compliance:

- Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

**Eligibility Criteria**
- Basic understanding of network concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of network security principles (preferred).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are advantageous.
