Chemistry Faculty

Key Responsibilities
- **Curriculum Development & Instruction**: Develop and implement lesson plans and teaching methods that align with the engineering curriculum requirements.
- **Lectures & Practical Sessions**: Deliver engaging lectures on topics such as organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, and plan and supervise mandatory laboratory experiments and activities.
- **Laboratory Management & Safety**: Ensure students understand and follow all safety regulations for handling chemicals, equipment, and other hazardous materials in the lab.
- **Student Evaluation**: Evaluate and grade student coursework, lab work, assignments, and examinations, and track academic progress.
- **Mentorship & Support**: Advise students on academic matters and career paths, and provide extra support to those who need it.
- **Departmental Collaboration & Administration**: Collaborate with other faculty members and serve on academic or administrative committees. This also includes performing administrative tasks like maintaining student records and managing lab supplies.
- **Professional Development**: Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate relevant advancements and modern teaching techniques into the curriculum.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- **Education**: A Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field is generally required, and relevant teaching certifications may also be necessary.
- **Instructional Skills**: Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills to explain complex concepts clearly and engage a diverse student body.
- **Hands-on Approach**: Ability to provide practical, hands-on instruction and foster critical thinking skills through experimentation.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills to manage classroom dynamics and administrative duties effectively.

**Note: Ph.D. holders are not eligible for this position.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month
