Introduction:
This role will oversee delivery of a coherent Talent Acquisition Strategy for a defined business area, working in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition sub-services to ensure Talent Acquisition services are being delivered against the strategy.

This is a highly visible role and the role holder will need to be able to share and display an understanding of commercial value and an in depth knowledge of the business areas they are partnering with.

What will you be doing?

Managing Relationships
- Ensure business stakeholders receive timely and insightful MI inclusive of key operational data (progress against hiring planned key performance metrics, process issues to be addressed etc.)
- Act as a single point of escalation for named client groups (mirroring the HR Business Partner model) and HRDs
- Through proactive engagement build and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders, to ensure appropriate awareness and understanding of the broader TA and HR functional agenda.

Hiring Strategy
- Through development of close working relationships, the role holder will build an in-depth understanding of current and future hiring requirements of the business.
- Through expert knowledge and the use of data insights of both the internal and external market the role holder will partner with the relevant sub-service to design, develop and oversee appropriate delivery of a TA strategy. Delivery of the service will be via the respective sub-services.

Talent Acquisition Expertise
- Data-led - leverage available data sources to ensure optimal delivery of the TA service and relevant insight to influence future Talent Acquisition and business strategies
- Shape/lead key projects which facilitate delivery of the People and Talent Acquisition strategy
- Influence, shape and promote “best practice”, champion diversity & inclusion and develop strategy and tactics to establish Barclays as an “employer of choice”
- Ensure policy, standards and governance is a fundamental part of the strategy and execution plan
