**Qualification**:
**Graduate - B.E Metallurgy Mandatory.**

**Post Graduate -M.E Preferable.**
- **Role**:_To provide technical leadership as the head of technical management of the laboratory.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- To manage the testing department and implement testing procedures.
- To arrange technical literature and testing standards for use by laboratory personnel.
- To ensure deployment of appropriate methods for testing services offered by the laboratory.
- To ensure that appropriate laboratory equipment is procured and available for use.
- Authority to control nonconforming testing including halting of work and withholding of test reports, as necessary and resumption of work.
- To identify the training needs of personnel working in the laboratory.
- To manage training programs.
- To participate in supplier selection process.
- To supervise the day to day operation and testing activities in the laboratory.
- To complement the efforts of the Quality Manager in preparation of quality plans and other management system documents.
- To interact with customers and take feedback on the quality of services received by them.
- To complement the efforts of the Quality Manager in conducting internal audit.
- Is responsible for purchase of consumables for the department.
- To control stores inventory of testing department
- To ensure safe handling of test items received from customers.
- To implement corrective and preventive actions in the testing department
- To ensure the preventive maintenance of equipment and instruments.
- Is responsible for test report preparation and timely delivery of the same to the respective customers.
- Is responsible for overall safety aspects of laboratory and field activities. Review records on usages, storage and inventory of all consumables used in the laboratory.
- To identify the training needs of personnel working in the testing department.
- To arrange sampling as per QAP/ITP/customer requirement.
- To arrange to do testing as per QAP/ITP/customer requirement and make reports.
- Coordinate to outside labs test activities.

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
