**Safety Officer**
- Job Description of a Safety Officer at a Construction Site:

- 1. Monitoring and Enforcing Safety Standards:

- Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure that the site complies with safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or relevant local regulations.
- 2. Risk Assessment and Accident Prevention:

- Conduct risk assessments and identify ways to reduce risks on-site.
- Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries, such as proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), machinery safety, and fall protection.
- 3. Training and Educating Workers:

- Provide safety training to workers, including proper handling of tools and machinery, emergency protocols, and workplace hazards.
- Educate workers about proper PPE usage and emergency response procedures.
- 4. Accident Investigation:

- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine the cause.
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective measures to avoid future incidents.
- 5. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure that all safety documentation, such as permits, safety records, and incident reports, are maintained accurately.
- Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and construction standards.
- 6. Emergency Response Coordination:

- Develop and implement emergency response plans for fire, chemical spills, and other site-specific emergencies.
- 7. Communication:

- Act as a liaison between workers, supervisors, and management regarding safety issues.
- Advise on legal and regulatory compliance matters.

**Duties**:

- Review physical, biological and chemical workplace hazards
- Conduct safety and environmental audits
- Investigate health-and-safety-related complaints, spills of hazardous chemicals, outbreaks of diseases or poisonings, and workplace accidents
- Inspect workplaces to ensure that equipment, materials and production processes do not present a safety or health hazard to employees or the general public
- Develop, implement and evaluate health and safety programs and strategies
- Provide consultation and deliver training programs to construction industry employers and employees on issues of workplace safety and (depending on the project) environmental protection

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor all such construction activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards on the construction site.
- Assist in implementing safety measures and emergency procedures.
- Provide support in case of emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report findings to the Safety Officer / PM / DPMs.
- Promote a culture of safety among workers by providing guidance and support.
- Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly by all workers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
