ROLE SUMMARY - The role of the **Section HOD **is to efficiently and effectively supervise / execute the curriculum design and development process for ICSE schools**.**
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the Section HOD will be:
- Strongly support the Head of Curriculum (HOC) in developing high quality curriculum keeping the institutions vision and methodology in mind.
- Liaise with School Personnel -viz. Principals / coordinators / teachers to provide support and assistance
- Design and maintain a comprehensive recording system/documentation of the curriculum development process
- Effectively manage the team of Subject HODs and Curriculum Developers to ensure all day to day operations and activities of the CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE curriculum development.
- Develop and implement training programs for CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE curriculum developers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Empower School Personnel - Principals / coordinators / teachers in the insitution’s vision of imparting quality education and ensure effective implementation of the curriculum.
- Keep abreast with latest developments in the CBSE/ICSE board guidelines and ensure that the curriculum is altered and re-aligned to meet all such requirements.
- Submit all curricula components and related documentation to centres within required timeframes.
- Review and consider changes to CBSE/ICSE curriculum and teaching methodologies based on feedback from schools and the quality review team.
- Demonstrate leadership at all times and positively motivate staff.
- Ensure all company Values are understood, accepted and practiced by the team as well.
- The Curricula components and assessments meet the CBSE/ICSE standards - enriched with the vision and philosophy of institution.
- Ensure all key elements of the CBSE / ICSE Curriculum and institution methodology are understood, accepted and reflected in curriculum given by curriculum developers.
- Ensures that changes are made to curriculum and teaching methodologies based on feedback from annual school quality reviews.
- The curriculum is sent to schools within committed time frames.
- Ensure that all content created is uploaded in the backup within two weeks of creation in the format suggested by IT.
- Effectively utilises available resources and infrastructure and the HOC is made aware of specific needs and upgrades in board related resources.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- B. Ed./ Masters in Education or Education Management/CIDTT
- 3-5 years experience in teaching Middle / Secondary / Higher Secondary School
- 2 years experience in curriculum development
- Good understanding of Curriculum standards in CBSE/ICSE/ IGCSE / International boards
- Skills in the areas of setting benchmarks and creating highly efficient processes and systems
- Ability to plan and effectively execute projects and developments
- Significant personal initiative and ability to work with limited guidance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a wide range of staff;
- Computer proficiency

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
