**Job Title**: Detailer/Designer CAD Worx, AutoCAD Plant 3D (Oil & Gas)

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **3D Modeling & Drafting**: Utilize CAD Worx and AutoCAD Plant 3D to create detailed 3D models of piping systems, equipment layouts, and structural components.
- **Drawing Preparation**: Generate and review isometric drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and piping layouts in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- **Design Coordination**: Collaborate with engineers and other design disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design elements and adherence to project requirements.
- **Clash Detection & Resolution**: Perform clash detection using tools like Navisworks to identify and resolve design conflicts, ensuring constructability and safety.
- **Material Take-Offs (MTO)**: Prepare accurate material take-offs and support procurement activities by providing detailed Bill of Materials (BOM).
- **Quality Assurance**: Review and verify design outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including revision histories, design calculations, and meeting minutes.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in piping design within the oil and gas industry.Energy
- **Software Proficiency**:
- Advanced skills in CAD Worx and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Experience with Bentley AutoPlant 3D is a plus.
- **Technical Knowledge**:
- Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
- Experience in creating and maintaining CAD Worx libraries and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and vendor data.
- **Soft Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- ** Certifications**: Certification or specific training in CAD Worx and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- **Additional Experience**:
- Experience with 3D laser scanning and integrating point clouds into piping design.
