**About Sneha NGO**:
SNEHA is a secular, Mumbai-based non-profit focused
on improving health and nutrition in urban slums, primarily targeting women and
children. Through innovative programs in Maternal and Child Health, Palliative
Care, and more, SNEHA empowers communities to drive sustainable health
improvements.

**About the Program**:
The Palliative Care Program at SNEHA provides
compassionate care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses, ensuring they
live with dignity and mínimal pain. The program offers medical support, counseling,
and other services to relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for
patients and their families.

**The Profile**:
We are seeking a Palliative Care Doctor to evaluate
cases, manage treatment, and alleviate physical and emotional pain through medication
and advice. You'll also provide family support, attend consultations, conduct
home visits, and lead a home care team. Your role includes training healthcare
stakeholders and contributing to clinical and educational activities.

**Job Location**: MMRDA
(Bandra)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Examine and evaluate patients
- Manage symptoms and conduct home visits
- Lead a home care team (nurses, counselors)
- Visit OPD and community centers
- Handle emergency calls and coordinate with hospital residents
- Conduct training and provide feedback to doctors
- Document patient-related information

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- M.B.B.S/BDS/BAMS
- At least 5 years of hospital experience (preferably in palliative

care)

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Empathy, patience, and effective communication
- Teamwork and strong work ethics
