Role / Job Description

**Summary**

The Content Developer reports to the Content Development Manager and
works as an individual contributor to the creation, release, and
maintenance of online instructional content for media products by the
Mathematics & Statistics Content Development group. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: writing content and correlations;
assessing content viability and appropriateness; developing content in
accordance with instructional objectives; ensuring consistency of
products and their components; correcting errors and responding to
quality assurance issues; addressing and responding to customer issues;
and occasionally performing quality assurance testing.

Background and Requirements

Related work experience
Mathematics teaching or tutoring experience is required. Experience in
education technology is preferred, but not required. Project management
experience a plus.

Formal education or equivalent
BA/BS and MS in mathematics or statistics required; additional
background or coursework in mathematics education and/or learning design
desired, but not required. Math content knowledge and expertise through
college calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra required.

Skills - Good working knowledge of Office products, especially Word and Excel,
have good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to manage
time between multiple projects and priorities, and superb organizational
skills. Good English written and verbal communication skills essential.
Good teamwork and collaboration skills. Experience with educational
technology and/or programming knowledge a plus.
