**Job Description - QA ASSOCIATE Fresher**

We are seeking a QA associate with an industry relevant experience of 0-1 years. Must have good understanding of software development lifecycle and software test life cycle. Should have hands on experience in software development related to quantitative, statistical and/or financial models. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

**Skills Required**:

- Good programming knowledge (preferably Java, good to have python).
- A good understanding of business.
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
- Create, execute, track and report on model validation, functional and integration test cases.
- Validate business rules in calculations and quantitative workflow, find, report and retest defects execute end-to-end testing, integration and functional testing as assigned track test case execution using Test Rail/Test Link.
- Develop test strategies and test cases, ensure product quality, provide consulting on quality techniques, and ensure adherence to proper software development procedures.
- Estimate QA efforts and develop testing strategy. Manage QA deliveries for assigned projects.
- Provide hands on testing support during QA phase and production validation.
- Provide regular status reports to QA lead, QA manager and/or project manager.
- Be responsible for collecting raw data and QA metrics.
- A meticulous approach to work.
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

**Education Qualifications required**:

- Bachelor's degree in the related field. Professional degree holders such as (B Tech) may be preferred for the role.
- Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor.

**Good to have Knowledge of**:

- using Gitlab
- using Test Rail / Test Link test case management
