Pd Merchandiser

We are a creative, fast-paced and dynamic sustainable apparel buying office. We are looking for professionals with strong creative, technical, and communication skills to join a boutique firm working in the domestic and international fashion industry.

**Skills**:

- 5 to 7 years of product development and merchandising experience in woven apparel at a buying house or working with direct buyers at an export factory is a must.
- A strong ability to create contemporary lifestyle products against inspiration, including line sheets, tech packs, specs, fits and sale samples (strong technical knowledge to create products)
- Working knowledge of Photoshop or illustrator is a must.

1. Active daily communication with quality, design and sourcing teams of international buyers.

2. Independently handling American, European, and Australian buyers.

3. Work closely to coordinate daily submissions and samples from factories and mills.

4. Responsible for maintaining on-time delivery, high quality, and client satisfaction.

5. Product development & sourcing for buyer.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be required to manage product development of our collections from sketches to completed pieces.
- Manage client communication for production orders placed by our international buyers with our partner factories, where strong and professional communication with international clients is a must.
- You will also be needed to work with us on multipronged marketing and outreach initiatives for new client development.

**Education**:

- Apparel Design /merchandising degree mandatory
- At least 5 to 7 years work experience in international design and manufacturing
- Experience and understanding of artisan and sustainable sourcing highly preferred
- Two prior employer referrals
- A sample of your technical design work - techpack and line sheet
- A sample of your English communication skills

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
