Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified 2D Echo Technician with a medical background (MBBS) and specialized training in 2D Echocardiography (Diploma in Cardiology/Echo) to join our cardiology department. The technician will play a critical role in performing and interpreting 2D echocardiographic studies and supporting the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions in a busy tertiary care hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive 2D echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic (TTE), stress echocardiography, and contrast echo as needed, adhering to standard imaging protocols.
- Evaluate and document cardiac structure and function, including valvular assessment, ventricular size and function, pericardial effusion, and congenital anomalies.
- Assist cardiologists in interpreting findings and correlating them clinically.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient reports, digital image storage, and necessary documentation as per hospital policy.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.
- Coordinate with nursing and medical teams for patient preparation, case prioritization, and reporting of urgent findings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and optimal functionality.
- Comply with infection control protocols and hospital safety policies at all times.
- Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and CMEs to stay updated on evolving techniques in cardiac imaging.
- Train junior technicians or fellows if required.
Required Qualifications:

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Diploma in 2D Echocardiography / Cardiology from an accredited institute.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in performing echocardiography (post-diploma) in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Familiarity with advanced echocardiographic modalities (e.g., Doppler, M-mode, strain imaging) is a plus.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
