Leather Technician

**About Us**

Alitan Corporation is a well-established leather tannery with over 40 years of expertise in leather processing and manufacturing. We specialize in customized job work, B2B production, and export-ready finished leather. We are looking for a committed, process-driven technician to join our growing team.
We have our tannery based in the Kolkata Leather Complex, Zone-4, Plot 295-296.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and supervise leather drum processing and chemical treatments
- Ensure proper use and measurement of chemicals as per batch SOPs
- Coordinate with labour for loading/unloading and timely processing
- Maintain production logs and report daily progress
- Conduct visual and physical checks for quality, shrinkage, and finishing
- Assist in chemical stock planning and usage reporting
- Ensure batch delivery timelines are met
- 2+ years of tannery work experience (processing or finishing)
- Hands-on knowledge of leather chemical processes
- Ability to manage labour and batch scheduling
- Must be disciplined, punctual, and process-oriented
- Preferred: Background in Kolkata leather belt

- UG:B.Tech/B.E. - Leather Technology.
PG:M.Tech - Leather Technology.
**Application Process**

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (required)

**Experience**:

- leather tanning: 2 years (required)
