As part of our growth and commitment to efficiency, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller to join our finance team. This role is crucial in helping us manage and optimize costs across our manufacturing processes, ensuring financial stability and profitability.- Position Overview:- Key Responsibilities:
**1.Cost Accounting and Analysis**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems and procedures.
- Monitor and analyse cost variances, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and financial analyses to support decision-making processes.

**2. Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and report on budget discrepancies, offering solutions to align actual spending with budgeted amounts.

**3. 3. Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and present periodic financial reports, including cost analyses, profit margins, and expense trends.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and cost efficiency.

**4.Inventory Management**:

- Oversee inventory valuation and control, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory costs.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
- Work with procurement and production teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.

**5.Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within the manufacturing operations.
- Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost-saving initiatives and projects.

**6.Compliance and Internal Controls**:

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and systems to identify and mitigate risks.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA Inter, CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller, Cost Accountant, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or accounting in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
