**Overview**: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Project Associate for a community-empowering initiative in the Narol/Naroda region of Ahmedabad city. As a Project Associate, you will be crucial in supporting and implementing the project's on-field work in Narol and Naroda. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community development and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with on-field community managers in the Naroda region of Ahmedabad to plan, organise, and execute various community (economically challenged) empowerment activities and initiatives in Narol and Naroda.
- Conduct extensive fieldwork, including community visits, surveys, and assessments, to understand the target population's needs and challenges.
- Assist in developing and implementing project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, objectives, and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor the daily, weekly as well as monthly reporting of the community managers at the Narol & Naroda office.
- Help identify and recruit volunteers, as well as provide guidance and support in their involvement with project activities.
- Collect and analyse project data for project evaluation and documentation, including monitoring progress and tracking outcomes.
- Stay updated with relevant research, trends, and best practices in community development to enhance the effectiveness and impact of project activities.
- Assist in expenditures, and procurement processes, ensuring proper financial management and accountability.

**Qualification & Skills**:

- **Education** - Bachelors & Master’s in Management or equivalent courses. An inclination towards Social & Community development initiatives
- **Experience** - Proven experience in community development, project implementation, or related fields, preferably in underprivileged or marginalized communities.
- **Skills -**
- Familiarity with the demographics of Ahmedabad City.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community managers, volunteers, and partner organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently, taking initiative and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, as required for community events and activities.

**Employment Details**:

- **Location**: Ahmedabad
- **Type**: Full-time
- **Compensation**: INR 20,000-25,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
- **Reporting to**: Project Manager

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
