**Key Responsibilities**:
**Automation Strategy and Framework Development**:

- Create and implement comprehensive test automation strategies aligned with business goals and project requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and technologies for test automation across different platforms.

**Web and Mobile Application Testing**:

- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and consistency in automated testing approaches.

**Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)**:

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize test execution within the CI/CD environment.

**Performance and Security Testing: (Nice to Have)**:

- Incorporate security testing automation into the overall QA process.

**Technical Leadership**:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers and automation specialists.
- Review and approve test designs, automation scripts, and testing approaches.
- Stay updated on emerging QA technologies and methodologies, driving innovation in testing practices.

**Reporting and Analytics**:

- Develop comprehensive, automated reporting systems for test results and quality metrics.
- Analyze test results to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement in both the product and testing processes.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of QA efforts with project goals.
- Present QA strategies, test results, and quality metrics to technical and non-technical audiences.

**Best Practices and Training**:

- Establish and enforce best practices for test automation across the organization.
- Develop and deliver training programs on automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years focused on test automation.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Proficiency with popular automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, WebdriverIO, Cypress, TestNG, Junit, Mocha).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and testing in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and services.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Certifications in relevant QA methodologies or automation tools.
