**About DSSD**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Edit Long-Form Educational Content**: Edit and enhance video lectures, tutorials, and training materials to ensure high-quality, clear, and engaging learning experiences for students.
- **Create Social Media Reels**: Produce compelling and dynamic short-form content (reels, teasers, and promotional videos) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn to promote courses, student testimonials, and events.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with instructors, the marketing team, and content creators to understand video requirements, including branding, tone, and educational objectives.
- **Graphics and Animation**: Add visually appealing graphics, animations, captions, and transitions to both long-form and short-form videos.
- **Audio Enhancement**: Ensure high-quality sound in all videos by syncing audio, removing noise, and adjusting audio levels for clarity.
- **Content Optimization**: Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring the right format, resolution, and aspect ratio for maximum engagement.
- **File Management**: Organize and manage video files, assets, and raw footage for easy access and streamlined editing processes.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all videos are delivered with consistent quality, adhering to DSSD’s branding and educational standards.
- **Stay Updated**: Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, software, and best practices to continually improve video quality and production efficiency.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing both long-form educational videos and short-form social media content.
- Proficiency in video editing software, including **Adobe Premiere Pro**, **Final Cut Pro**, **DaVinci Resolve**, or similar.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, and graphic design tools (e.g., **Adobe After Effects**, **Photoshop**).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and video optimization for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality videos under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with instructors and other departments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems creatively during the editing process.
- Knowledge of color correction and audio editing techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience creating educational content or working with e-learning platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO for video content and YouTube video optimization.
- Experience with audio editing software (e.g., **Adobe Audition**, **Audacity**).
- Basic understanding of digital marketing strategies for video content.
