**Overview**: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educator to join our team. As a Special Educator, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support and instruction to children with special needs, ensuring they reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to meet the unique requirements of each student.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities during group classes.
- Conduct engaging and informative group classes, ensuring each student receives appropriate attention and support.
- Provide ongoing assessment and evaluation to monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to support student development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages active participation.
- Incorporate assistive technology and adaptive materials to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Offer guidance and support to mainstream teachers in implementing accommodations and modifications for students.
- Stay current with best practices and trends in special education and incorporate innovative approaches into teaching methodologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Prior experience working with children with a diverse range of special needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience in developing and implementing accommodations and modifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanour, with a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in the field of special education.
