Role: Data Architect

Level: Senior Manager / AD

Qualifications: Bachelor or Masters in Computer science / computer engineering

Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development with roles of designer, architect, data-architect, database designer or system modeller.

Role: Manage complete lifecycle of the data-architecture, data entities, data attributes, data features for software projects under CDO.

Technical experience:

- Worked for at least 5 years on databases including oracle, ms-sql, postgres, mysql.
- Worked with a primacy function on data sizing, data modelling, big data architecture, performance analysis.
- Knowledge of in-memory databases and database caching methods.
- Understanding of data security for data-in-rest and data-in-transit. Experience in security configurations on well-known databases.
- Worked on ER models, DFDs, normalizations, denormalization and UMLs.
- Worked on data indexing schemes, data partitioning schemes, database tuning, database performance benchmarking.
- Knowledge of special database systems including immutable databases, blockchains and graphdb.
- Experience in the complete lifecycle of big data including architecture, design, setup and monitoring. Executed projects including using Spark, Hadoop, Kafka and other open
- source technologies.
- Worked on cloud databases from Azure, AWS and Google and experience in quantitative analysis and selection of technology. Performed technology selections for multiple times with through comparisons for cloud-non cloud databases.
- Experience in real time data processing, micro-batch frameworks. Worked with databases including oracle, postgres, mysql and other sql based databases.
- Experience with EDA, database connectors, data migrations, ETL tools.
- Experience in languages including SQL, GraphQL, Pig, Hive, PgSql
- Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably C#, Python or Java.
- Knowledge of cloud services for machine learning and deep learning. Understanding of supervised learning and non-supervised learning algorithms including decision tree, naive bayes, k-means, neural networks and deep-learning.
