Horticulture Technician

Location: Hyderabad

**Salary**: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Horticulture to manage and enhance the green spaces in and around apartment complexes. The SME will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining sustainable landscaping solutions that align with environmental and aesthetic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Landscape Planning & Design:
Develop and execute landscaping plans for apartment complexes.

Select and suggest suitable plants, trees, and shrubs based on soil type, climate, and aesthetic requirements.

2. Maintenance & Management:
Oversee the regular upkeep of lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas.

Monitor irrigation systems, soil health, and pest control activities.

3. Team Supervision:
Guide and supervise gardening staff in day-to-day operations.

Conduct training sessions on best practices in horticulture.

4. Sustainability Practices:
Implement eco-friendly practices, including composting, water conservation, and organic pest control.

Promote sustainable gardening techniques within the community.

5. Community Engagement:
Interact with residents to address landscaping-related concerns.

Plan and execute community-driven gardening activities and workshops.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field.

Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture (preferably in residential or apartment settings).

Knowledge of local plants, soil types, and pest management practices.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
Ability to manage budgets and procurement of horticulture materials.

Knowledge of modern irrigation systems and tools.

Passion for creating eco-friendly landscapes.

Work Schedule:
Full-time role with flexible hours to oversee morning and evening gardening shifts.
