Job Title: English Teacher (PGT & TGT)

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Teach English language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension.
- Introduce students to a variety of literary genres and texts, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their English language proficiency and academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Stay updated with advancements in English language teaching methodologies and integrate innovative techniques into teaching practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred for PGT positions.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is required.
- Prior teaching experience in English language and literature at the secondary level is desirable.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to excel academically and personally.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Proficiency in incorporating technology into teaching and learning activities.
- Organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor towards students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Ability to Commute or in and around 5-10 kms from School Zone.
