**Skills Required**:

**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and legal requirements for the road widening project.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to EHS practices and standards.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials as per regulations.
- Identify potential risks to health, safety, and the environment on-site.
- Develop risk assessments and safety protocols to minimize accidents and hazards.
- Implement preventive measures and safety systems to address identified risks.
- Ensure that safety equipment is used correctly by workers and that they are aware of emergency procedures.
- Investigate and document any accidents, near misses, or safety breaches.
- Report accidents and incidents to the relevant authorities and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Carry out regular safety audits, workplace inspections, and safety drills.
- Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene on-site, especially in high-risk zones.
- Monitor and mitigate the environmental impact of the construction process (e.g., air pollution, water contamination, noise levels).
- Ensure proper management of waste disposal and recycling processes.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and certifications.
- Prepare periodic EHS reports for project management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with local authorities, environmental agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and inspections bodies when required.
- Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on EHS standards for all workers and staff.
- Ensure that safety equipment is used correctly by workers and that they are aware of emergency procedures.
**Qualification**:
Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science, Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
**Eligibility**:
Minimum 4 years of experience as an EHS Officer or similar role in construction, infrastructure, or road projects.
OR
Minimum 2 years of experience as an EHS Officer in road widening or improvement projects.
**Qualifications** : Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science, Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
