About the Role

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement strategies for building customized HMI tools that meet the specific needs of OEM customers.
- Work closely with software engineers to design and develop customized software solutions for HMI tool development.
- Collaborate with UX designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly HMI customization interfaces.
- Evaluate and recommend third-party HMI customization tools and libraries that can be used in conjunction with in-house tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation for HMI customization tools and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to other software developers on best practices for HMI tool development.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in HMI customization tools and technologies.

What You Need
- Bachelor / master’s degree in electrical engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 12+years of experience in software development, with a focus on HMI
- Experience in 3D design tools such as Unity3D, Blender, MAYA, 3D MAX.
- In-depth understanding of 3D concepts, such as different 3D model formats, 3D scene, Light/Shadow, Texture, Material etc.
- Strong knowledge of HMI design principles and user experience best practices.
- Good understanding of UX tools like Figma and plugins associated with it
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

What is Nice to Have
- Knowledge of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies
- Experience in Linux/QNX HMI development
- Experience in OpenGL, Vulkan, Shader is preferred.
- Experience in using or developing 3D engine such as Ogre, bullet, KANZI, QT3D is preferred.
