Mid-level Designer

**Responsibilities**:
**The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.**
- Performs a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.
- Works under the direction of a supervisor on specific and limited portions of a broader assignment that requires some supervision.
- Ability to read P&IDs, pull the necessary data and transfer to equipment & piping design utilizing standard design techniques and use industry best practices.
- Drafts interpretation of own design into completed working drawings and applies engineering fundamentals to design.
- Performs routine calculations related to Machine design.
- Study SSOE and client’s CAD standard and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Organizes and maintains project design records.
- Organize maintenance spare parts and structure them in client’s SAP system.
- Communicates with supervisor concerning progress or problems in an assigned task.

Qualifications:
**What You Will Bring**:

- Diploma or certification in mechanical discipline from an accredited institute.
- Autodesk Inventor 3D and AutoCAD 2D experience mandatory. Plant 3D experience a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in design field.
- Experience with Material Handling equipment, packaging equipment, ductwork systems, fabrication weldments.
- Experience with SAP system is a plus.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be familiar with international codes and standards (preferably USA codes).
- Should be flexible to work in the evening hours (occasionally) to maintain the communication with the USA teams.
