**Music Teacher***:

- Plan and deliver music lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum (vocal, instrumental, or both).
- Teach students to read music, understand theory, and develop performance skills.
- Conduct regular music classes for various grade levels, from basic to advanced levels.
- Organize and lead school music performances, events, and competitions.
- Encourage and mentor students interested in developing their musical talents.
- Manage and maintain musical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff for interdisciplinary programs and cultural events.
- Prepare students for music examinations (e.g., Trinity, ABRSM) if applicable.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports creativity and expression.
- Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Music or a related field.
- Formal training in vocal and/or instrumental music.
- Certification in music education (preferred but not mandatory).
- Previous experience teaching music in a school or educational setting.
- Proficient in one or more musical instruments (e.g., keyboard, guitar, tabla, etc.).
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and nurturing young talent.

**Work Conditions**:

- Full-time/Part-time role based at SRMPS.
- May include after-school rehearsals or weekend events during school programs.
- Reporting to the Principal
