**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Credit Risk Assessment: - The employee will evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers by assessing credit scores, financial statements, income stability, and other factors. They will assess both individual and business lending risks, ensuring loan disbursements align with the company's risk profile.
- Portfolio Risk Monitoring: - Continuously monitor the loan portfolio for emerging risks, including delinquency, defaults, and concentration risks. Proactively identify signs of credit deterioration and take corrective actions as required.
- Risk Mitigation Strategies:

- Develop and enforce policies to minimize lending risk exposure. Recommend loan terms, interest rates, collateral requirements, and structures based on risk analysis.
- Loan Recovery Risk Management:

- Collaborate with collections and recovery teams to minimize risk exposure from non-performing assets (NPA). Evaluate recovery strategies' effectiveness and adjust risk models as needed.
- Risk Reporting & Communication: - Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, outlining the loan portfolio’s risk profile, potential risks, and mitigation actions. Effectively communicate key risks to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on risk management strategies.
- Collaboration with disbursing & Credit Team:

- Collaborate with the disbursing team to align risk assessments with lending strategies and recommend improvements to the loan approval process, balancing growth and risk.
- Data Driven Decision Making: - Utilize data analytics to identify risk trends, market conditions, and borrower behavior. This should help in decisions on lending policies, risk limits, and new market or loan product opportunities.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.**:

- **An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.**:

- **Hands-on experience with LOS/LMS software.**:

- **Experience with credit risk scoring models and lending decision systems.**:

- **Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines, and other relevant lending regulations.**:

- **Familiarity with loan products, borrower credit evaluation, and default prediction models.**:

- **Proficiency in data analytics tools, credit risk models, and relevant software.**:

- **Strong communication skills for presenting risk assessments and team collaboration.**:

- **Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to manage risk exposure.**

**Mandatory Skills**
