Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Job Summary:
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers.
- Maintain and update a database of approved vendors.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations, product samples, and specifications.

Procurement Support
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders (POs) and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Compare quotations based on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and favorable terms (under supervision)

Inventory Coordination
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse or inventory teams.
- Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials to prevent stockouts.

Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, procedures, and budget constraints.

Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, production, etc.) to understand purchasing requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Aerospace are the first preference. Else Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
0 - 1 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations (internships or projects can be considered).

Knowledge of vendor evaluation techniques and procurement software is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
