**Responsibilities**:

- Write books based on outlines, expert interviews and research in English.
- Line-edit manuscripts in English, checking for flow, comprehension, meaning and relevance.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content
- Research on various topics online to add the Editor’s perspective to manuscripts.
- Use online and offline tools to check for punctuation, grammar etc.
- Can write independently WITHOUT using generative AI (like ChatGPT).
- Coordinate with our clients and rewrites or edits full length non-fiction books to polish up the raw content and bring it up to international publishing standards.

**Requirements**:

- Mastery level skills in verbal and written English communication
- Attention to detail including meticulous proofreading and editing skills, ensuring accuracy and quality in all content produced.
- Self-motivated and self-directed with a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs etc.
- Should bring their own LAPTOP to work
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be prepared to work long hours if required

Expected Start Date: Immediate

Location: Work from our Bangalore office.

**Salary**:
Freshers (no experience): 3 Lakhs per annum CTC for first 6 months (training period), then appointment.

Experienced: 4 Lakhs - 7 Lakhs per annum CTC (depending on skills and experience)

This is a full time position. Moonlighting, part-time working or freelancing is strictly not allowed. Work from home (WFH) is NOT available for this role.
