Iec Expert

The IEC Expert in Solid Waste Management Projects is responsible for developing and implementing Information, Education, and Communication strategies to raise awareness, educate the public, and foster positive behavioral changes regarding proper solid waste management practices. This role aims to enhance community engagement and the overall success of solid waste management projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for strategizing and designing IEC approaches in alignment with organizational or client directives.
- Conceptualize IEC campaigns, ensuring their timely and well-defined execution across towns/blocks.
- Responsible for overall documentation of the project
- Organize workshops, seminars, training sessions, and community events to circulate information on proper waste segregation, recycling, and disposal methods.
- Consistently update and share initiatives and visuals on various social media platforms.
- Monitor and conduct periodic evaluations to assess the impact of initiatives across the town.
- Prepare regular reports detailing the progress of the project, outcomes, and challenges and document all project-related accomplishments.
- Perform any other activities as authorized or directed by the relevant authority.

**Qualifications**
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing IEC strategies, in the field of solid waste management for at least 5 years.
- Proficiency in designing and creating multimedia content.
- Strong knowledge of project documentation and reporting
- Analytical skills for data interpretation and impact assessment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

- Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
