Management and Supervision:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff, including medical technologists, lab technicians, and support personnel.
- Schedule and assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and address any personnel issues.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Regularly review and update laboratory protocols and procedures in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of laboratory operations and documentation.

Equipment and Inventory Management:

- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment.

Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring that necessary materials are available and ordering new supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of laboratory chemicals and specimens.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain and update documentation related to laboratory safety and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and enforce infection control procedures.

Patient Care and Communication:

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of test results.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to laboratory test results or procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and practices.
- Develop and manage the laboratory budget, including cost control and financial planning.
- Participate in professional development activities and encourage staff to pursue continuing education.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
