**Responsibilities**:

- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of sheet metal components using Solidworks software.
- Design sheet metal parts that meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of the project
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the sheet metal components are designed to meet manufacturing, assembly, and cost requirements.
- Create detailed engineering documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions.
- Conduct design reviews and provide design recommendations to improve product quality, performance, and manufacturability.
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that sheet metal components are produced to the required specifications and quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sheet metal design and CAD software.

**Requirements**:
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in sheet metal design using Solidworks CAD software
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques
- Experience with designing for manufacturability and assembly
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
