Job Title: Prosthodontist & Implantologist

Location: Adyar and Velachery Branch, Chennai

Yash Dental Clinic is currently seeking an experienced Implantologist & Prosthodontist to join our team at both Adyar and Velachery Branches in Chennai. As Prosthodontist & Implantologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized dental care focusing on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases and injuries affecting dental pulp and surrounding tissues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ dental and medical histories.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including x-rays and CT scans, to assess bone structure and oral health.
- Discuss treatment options, procedures, and risks with patients, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable with the planned course of treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and conditions of each patient.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists (e.g., periodontists, orthodontists) to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
- Utilize advanced software and technology for precise implant placement planning.
- Perform surgical procedures for the placement of dental implants, including bone grafts and sinus lifts when necessary.
- Ensure sterile and safe surgical environments.
- Use advanced techniques and materials to achieve optimal implant outcomes.
- Monitor patients’ recovery and manage post-operative care.
- Address any complications or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Provide detailed post-operative instructions and ensure patients have access to necessary resources and support.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and maintenance of dental implants.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle changes or adjustments to ensure the longevity of implants.
- Offer continuous support and follow-up appointments to monitor the success of the implants.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in implantology through continuous education and professional development.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain membership in relevant professional organizations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution.
- Postgraduate specialization as required.
- Valid license to practice as an Implantologist & Prosthodontist in the state of Tamil Nadu.
- 3 to 4 years of clinical experience as an Implantologist & Prosthodontist, preferably in a dental clinic setting.
- Proficiency in using dental tools, equipment, and technology related to the procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment to deliver precise and effective treatments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
